The Scholarship
The Scholarship is open to high potential candidates from outside the Netherlands who are interested in pursuing a world class graduate management education in a leading international business school in Europe. A number of scholarships are available, each with a value of €10,000 and waived from the tution fee, and will be awarded to candidates that show a high level of diversity in their citizenship of the world through international experience, diverse career moves, etc.
Eligibility
Any MBA candidate that is offered a place on our International Full-time MBA Programme commencing in October 2008 may apply. The awards will be merit based and thus the quality of your MBA application and performance in your interview will be part of the criteria for assessment.
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate evidence of substantial career progression, characteristics that will be an asset to the programme, and excellent career goals for their future after the MBA. Furthermore, candidates are expected to show a high level of ‘world citizenship’ through possibly international work experience, cultural diversity or any other such globally diverse experiences.
Review Process
If you would like to be considered for a scholarship please write a 1000 word essay outlining your eligibility on the basis of the criteria mentioned above (individuals who can demonstrate evidence of substantial career progression, characteristics that will be an asset to the programme, and excellent career goals for their future after the MBA), fill out the Applicant Agreement and submit it to the Scholarships Office at RSM together with an electronic copy of your CV.
Selection Process
There will be three rounds of the Selection Process for the RSM MBA Citizenship Scholarship. The deadlines for application to each round as well as the timing for the announcement of the Awards are as follows:
* 1st round application deadline 29 February 2008 with the announcement of the winner by 17 March 2008
* 2nd round application deadline 29 May 2008 with the announcement of the winner by 23 June 2008
* 3rd round application deadline 28 July 2008 with the announcement of the winner by 25 August 2008
Please note that if you are successful in being awarded an RSM MBA Citizenship scholarship in rounds 1 or 2 you will no longer be eligible to apply for other scholarships.
